We need you. We need you to help us provide our services to children and families in our community.  

As you may know, grief is a universal experience. During times of sorrow however, children and teens can often feel overlooked and as a result can feel especially isolated. A significant amount of research has been conducted which has demonstrated that children who have experienced a parental loss are significantly more likely to develop depression, suffer from anxiety, get divorced and have lower educational attainment. (McLeod, 1991).

With past financial and in-kind support, SandCastles has helped change young lives and families.  For a five year period from 2006 to 2010, SandCastles served 2,434 children and 1,764 adults.  Can you imagine if SandCastles did not exist?
